Crave stores the things it needs to work and nothing it doesn't. Here is the complete list.
Your email address and password, so you can sign back in. Your username, display name, bio and profile photo, because other people see them.
The recipes you rank, the bucket and score each one lands in, your private notes, and every head-to-head comparison you answer. The comparisons are what produce your scores, so they're kept rather than discarded.
Photos of what you made, captions, comments, and reactions. Photos are resized on your phone before upload. Anything you post is visible to people who follow you.
Who you follow, who you've blocked, and any reports you submit. Reports are kept even if the reported content is deleted, so repeated behaviour can be seen.
If you allow push notifications, a device token so we can send them. Decline and nothing is stored. The in-app inbox still works.
Supabase hosts the database, authentication and photo storage. Expo delivers push notifications. If you use the recipe assistant, the text of that request goes to Google Gemini. Your rankings and photos do not.
Nothing is sold. There is no advertising SDK, no analytics broker, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
Open Settings, then Delete my account. It removes your rankings, comparisons, cooks, photos, comments and profile. It is immediate and it can't be undone.
Crave isn't intended for anyone under 13, and accounts aren't knowingly created for them.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
